Brian Walker works for Aegis Security, namely, Jake Ryder. Grace Ryder is a songwriter, who is being stalked by someone. Grace happens to be the younger 1/2 sister of Jake.Since Grace does not want any type of security detail, Jake sends in Brian, undercover, to keep an eye on Grace. Brian sits at the bar, and just watches Grace. But Grace has other ideas, and hits on Brian with a proposal he cannot resist. And Brian turns out to be just the thing that Grace needs to finish the last two songs on her contract.
This novella is short, only 101 pages. But it packs a wallop. There is steamy sex, but an underlying mystery that needs to be solved. The last chapter of the book sets up some secondary characters that would be fun to see in books of their own.
The book is well written, the characters are interesting, and could prove to be the start of a very interesting series. I would recommend this, and I look forward to any possible additions to this series.

These books on the security series and the against all odds series are exceedingly interesting and spellbinding also . This author Elisabeth Naughton is new to me but I'm already in love with her writing can hardly wait for a new book.
I really liked this story! It was HOT and STEAMY and had a really good story going for it too. I think I've found another new favorite author. Can't wait to read more of her books. Highly recommended!
This was a little better than the first book in the series. Grace and Brian were a very appealing couple and the tension between extremely well done and the pace and plot a little more exciting. The hint of mystery with Grace's brother gets you in and it is well-written as always by this author. Good reading!
Oh I thoroughly enjoyed this story. A lot of emotion, lust, action and secrets. I don't want to say anymore about the story, just get while it's on sale, it's well worth it.
I have read every single one of Elisabeth Naughton' s books except for one, and I must say I am never disappointed. She has a quick wit, and the dialogue is always well written. I look forward in reading more of her books.
Brian and Grace are hot. What I liked most was that the characters have been brought together in a typical way but the writing is so well done you can't wait for these two's romance to blossom. The angst that a lot of the stories have isn't so much that you get tired of reading about and thinking when will they get together. Can't wait for the next story!
I'm sure that just about everyone would like to pretend and do something daring at least once in their lifetime. This storyline kept you interested and had a twist of a mystery. Was very surprised to learn who the stalker was. I am now going to check and see what other books this author wrote; I love books I just don't want to put down. I also like books I can 're a d in a little over an hour.
This is the first Aegis Securities book I've read. I've now added all of them to my to read list and downloaded them. I love the story of Grace and Brian. They both have a lot of baggage but in different ways. I laughed during their story which is always a plus. The sex scenes are extremely hot. What a woman wouldn't give to have a man devour her the way Brian does Grace. I hope to get updates on them through other Aegis books. Of course it left me hoping for Grace's brother Jake's story.
